When i said Alien was out of date, i only meant effects wise, ie the ship floating though space etc. Not ou of date that it is bad. Yes, i have seen the alien legacy, i bought them all in the DVD Box set, just because i found a great alien website, and became hooked (even though i liked them before) plus they are digitally re-mastered so it means no, or very little, lines, dots etc in the film I could indeed do with all the info that u said on the weapons. I know that the pulse rifle was an actual rifle and they just stuck stuff over the top to make it look futuristic and cool Ive also seen a pic of weaver firing a flame thower in a field I was, erm, minus 6 years old when alien came out :)
